If you feel totally at ease and like you’re distanced from possible danger or making mistakes, you working in your comfort zone.   Based on this definition of “Comfort Zone”, it is quite possible to have both a positive AND negative affect on your ability to grow a successful business.  If the actions you take on your entrepreneurial journey are based on feeling comfortable, you may miss out on the things that can take your business to the next level.

Vulnerability is the antithesis of a comfort zone. Dr. Brené Brown says, “Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage… When we shut ourselves off from vulnerability, we distance ourselves from the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives and our work.”  In my opinion, the best way to determine your comfort zone is to construct a personal framework.  This framework is a lens through which you can look at EVERY situation you encounter in your business.
