Equals living your dream

 

Your vision board party ideas will only get you so far, your mindset is the key to seeing the vision come to life.

Every year, my family and I would watch The Wizard of Oz (and later, The Wiz).  When I became an adult, and started coaching people, I used these stories.  The helped me illustrate some of the principles I teach.  Dorothy had a dream, we come to find out at the end of the movie, but she only realized this fact AFTER she realized she was the key to everything.

Mindset played a huge role in her getting to Oz. 

Dorothy had to overcome 3 main obstacles to reach Emerald City. She faced them all by understanding the problem and her role in fixing it.  The scarecrow, the tin man, and the lion were roadblocks she encountered.  Instead of giving up, she supplemented her vision with the right mindset.

Isn’t it funny how our vision can feel like a dream at times?  It’s easy to feel like the vision won’t be realized when obstacles get in the way.  Mindset is the antidote.
