Creating A Sustainable Brand
& Succeeding in 2023
The countdown to 2023 has started and it’s time to create a sustainable brand. A brand that reflects your value, offers a positive customer experience, and increases profitability. I’ve been sharing tips all year long.
If you don’t learn anything else this year, remember this. I believe these tips are vital to creating/maintaining a sustainable brand:
- It’s important to STAY FLEXIBLE in addition to setting goals and working hard at your craft. You should also be openminded and ready to pivot when the need arises.
- It’s important to CREATE amazing content, but also to have a clear plan for DISTRIBUTING that content. Nothing is worse than having something to say and NO ONE to actually hear it. A huge part of content distribution is knowing which Stage of Boss’n you need to be operating in.
- I’d also suggest my T.A.C approach to brand development. TRANSPARENCY | AUTHENTICITY | and CONSISTENCY play a major role in conversions. These 3 elements are how you form a reputation, build relationship, and establish rapport with the right audience.
- Business is always when better done together. By “together” I mean in COMMUNITY. People do business with those they know, like, and trust. When you Build community you’re creating or enhancing a group of individuals with a common goal. This is a fantastic way to establish a sustainable brand. There is so much value in being a part of a group of like-minded individuals who feed off of each other’s energy.

I’m sure you’ve realized by now, digital marketing isn’t going anywhere. It’s more and more common for business to be conducted in DM’s, Zooms, and through CashApp. If you’ve traditionally used in-person events and you’re used to charming people with your persuasive conversation, you may struggle a bit next year. These methods of business aren’t going anywhere, but they aren’t the rule anymore, there the exception. Instead of passing out business cards, people are asking for your Instagram profile. It’s less about your phone number & email address and more about influence potential. Employers are also using social media to vet potential employees.
Whether you like it or not, YOU ARE A BRAND! The sooner you put some effort into being transparent, authentic, and consistent, the sooner you have sustainability.
