10 Tips & A Little Advice For The Road

Almost three years ago I filmed this video and boy did these tips to overcome a brand identity crisis hit the nail on the head.

I had no idea there would be a “Great Resignation” happening.  It seems like the whole world is having a brand identity crisis. It could definitely use a few tips to get back on track.  I don’t know how many people left their jobs to start a business,  but I hope they know the difference between taking risks and being reckless.

Gosh, I think I go through some sort of identity crisis every year because I am in a constant state of tweaking.  Do you go through that too?  I find myself saying the same thing each year.

“I think I found the missing puzzle piece, this year is the year”.  

There is a certain mindset we have to adopt if we want to have the stamina for entrepreneurship.  Without  it, we could be gobbled up by the failures, the stressors, the time sucks of it all.  I love this quote by Henry Ford, “When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”  It makes me feel better about the times things aren’t going my way.

If you feel like you’re going through a brand identity crisis, remember you’re not alone.  The truth is, if you’re still in business you’re doing something right. You just need to find your stride and learn what you need to feel comfortable asking for what  you want.
