Why You Should Embrace Change

You shouldn’t be afraid of change, you should embrace it. I know it’s hard but without the pivot, the adjustment, the change… you’re destined to stay stuck.  Recently, I had a NEED to do something different to get a different result so I took the bull by the horns and did that thang. To accomplish something that I just couldn’t be done in the circumstances I found myself in, I changed an major element of how I live.  Is this YOUR situation? Do you find yourself in need of a change? I get it, believe me. Change is not the most fun thing in the world (depending on the change needed) but in many cases it’s the best option.

Here are a few tips to help you decide on HOW to start YOUR change:

• Consider what you WANT
• Take inventory of your needs to get there
• Recognize you don’t know what you don’t know and then educate yourself
• Make a plan to get where you want to be
• Determine what motivates you and put it into to motion
• Be forgiving of yourself
• Don’t give up… keep going because consistency breeds results

I like this Psychology Today article about change because these 10 Rules of Change are extremely helpful to affect change in your life, business, and/or career. The point is, don’t be afraid of change. Embrace it and live your best life!
