What is it? How Do You Get One?
Do you know your unique value proposition or were you like me? It didn’t take me long to fall prey to the business predators imposter syndrome and negative self-talk. When I first started my business, you couldn’t have convinced me that one day I would feel like competition was a myth and would only hold me back if I allowed that mindset to invade my thinking.
There will always be someone serving the same customer base I serve. My price won’t always be the cheapest and not everyone is going to like the way I disseminate information.
THAT’S OKAY!
What matters is that I am comfortable and confident in the value I’m bringing to the table and remember that the combination of influence, experience, perspective and passion make ANYTHING that I share as unique to me as the vast number of individual snowflakes that blanket the ground so beautifully on a cold winter’s day.
In my experience, it’s those that attach themselves to a specific outcomes that struggle with finding THEIR superpower the most. Time spent imitating the success path of someone else can be exhausting, frustrating, and discouraging.
Instead of taking that depressing route, change your perspective. Think differently about how you leverage your skills. You may be really good at something, and that something may be the same thing someone else is really good at. SO WHAT!! Transform your exhaustion, frustration, and discouragement into your superpower.
Just attach your passion & style thread to that special skill and form your SUPERPOWER. You are SPECIAL.. Don’t you think it’s about time you start acting like it??
