Y’all…I just had to do a podcast on how to use personal branding to stay picture perfect during a pandemic because I’ve officially dropped the ball myself. I’ve focused more on productivity, not the way I look. I’m sure you know what I mean. You know what it’s like to just roll out of bed and get started with your day instead of being intentional about the way you looked.
It’s time to snap out of it! I’m going to share 3 tips for how to use personal branding to stay picture perfect during a pandemic. The message here is not that you should prioritize your appearance over the good work you’re doing, though. I’m suggesting you become more conscious of the non-verbal messages you’re sending with your appearance. Did you know assumptions are made about you BEFORE you open your mouth? Whether you’re selling a product or providing a service, you could be making a poor first impression with the way you look. it doesn’t matter how good you are, your non-verbal message is leaving an impression that speaks volumes. Living and doing business authentically is a great way to minimize the judgement but it won’t alleviate it altogether. Living your value and loving yourself enough to be yourself is a great way to walk in your truth.
