So you’re feeling stuck in business and you can’t figure out why? I get it. It’s an easy place to find yourself. The good news is that you’re not alone. According to this LinkedIn article, many of the reasons (as I see it) come from business owners operating outside of their personal framework.
Another term for “being stuck in business” is STAGNATION. By definition, it means a lack of flow, movement, or development. Is that what you’re feeling? Though the LinkedIn article DOES have valid points, I came up with a few more reasons for feeling stuck in business and/or life. When you aren’t operating inside your personal framework complacency, limiting beliefs, and lack of inspiration can also be the reason for that stuck feeling.
- COMPLACENCY is either the result of overconfidence, little to know accountability, ad/or not being invested in the goal. The problem with complacency is it can result in the loss of customers, loosing touch with friends/employees/partnerships. When these things happen ,money doesn’t flowing in as much and the future may feel bleak.
- LIMITING BELIEFS don’t just make you feel stuck, they can bring EVERYTHING to a screeching halt. It’s easy to feel burn out and have a lack of motivation when you’re spinning your wheels trying to be what you think people want you to be AND if you’re trying to live up to the expectations of others. It’s a game you can NEVER win.
- When you feel stuck in business, it can also result in being UNINSPIRED. This is especially concerning for people like me, creatives. It’s a horrible feeling when ideas are few and far between but you need to pull a rabbit out of your hat to attract more clients/customers. Struggling to create profitable marketing strategies can cost you big time.
